This bottle is actually opaque white glass- not china! Yep I can do glass too. This vintage apothecary bottle screen printed with the word Downers. Perfect condition, approx 14cm high, there are 11 different bottles in this set, each sold separately.
This vintage piece of fine glass has been given new life through the process of upcycling, using high fire ceramic paint. The new elements have been screen printed onto the glass and then fired in a kiln at approximately 600c. This process ensures that the paint is permanent and will not wash, wipe off or fade, making the item safe for use.
While these pieces are safe for use, we recommend hand washing to preserve their original charm. Embrace the character of each piece, bearing the marks of a well-loved past. Please note that minor wear and tear are to be expected from their previous lives.
