Scotch and pansies, sounds like an uber cool bar in the back streets of Collingwood. This little cutie was obviously Nanna’s favourite cup that she only used for birthdays and Christmas because it’s in perfect condition. The vintage cup is decorated with pansies and gold lustre, I’ve added the word ‘Scotch’ (sorry Nanna) and a skull to the saucer.
This vintage piece of china has been upcycled using high fire ceramic paint. The painted addition has been screen printed on and fired in a kiln to around 700c. The paint is permanent and will not wash or wipe off. The pieces are safe to use, however it is not recommended that these items be put in a dishwasher. The new paint detail can stand up to a dishwasher but the original glaze and painted decoration may perish. The china piece will have some wear and tear, which can be expected from old preloved crockery. Any chips or major damage will be listed in the description. Each piece is unique and hand-made.
